PURPOSE

Faithful Care, organized 2002, is a community outreach program of Faith Church, Salem, KY. It was developed to provide a loving, supportive, safe and educational environment for the children in our care. Through positive interaction with children and families, and by working in a supportive and encouraging way, it is our desire to promote physical and spiritual health, strength, and well-being to the child and his/her family.

Our Goals

To provide a safe, engaging environment that meets the social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical needs of the children we serve.

To provide an environment where both children and adults demonstrate respect, courtesy, and cooperation to one another.

To provide enriching experiences that help create readiness for school and cultural activities.

To provide opportunities and experiences that enable children to develop independence, responsibility, and self-confidence.

To provide an opportunity for interaction with other children that encourages pro-social behavior.

To provide age-appropriate activities that encourage creative self-expression in an atmosphere where learning can occur at each individual's pace.
